  1. Spray a pan or bowl that fits in your instant pot. I'm using a 6 inch spring form pan here..
  2. Put pie filling in bottom of pan..
  3. Pour 1/2 box of cake mix on top of pie filling.
  4. Cut butter into small pieces, place on top of cake mix.
  5. Cover with foil.
  6. Put 2 cups water in IP liner, the trivet and your cake.
  7. Put IP top on, set for pressure cook 25 minutes.
  8. Let natural pressure release 5 minutes, than quick release remaining pressure. Remove from IP, remove foil, let sit 5 minutes to set..
  9. It's best to eat warm, when you cool it (refrigerator) the butter solidifies in the crust, and it breaks instead of cuts. But, it's really good either way..

Cover your dump cake with aluminum foil, sealing the edges tightly. Place the pan onto the trivet and put the Instant Pot lid on top.
